About the Opportunity:
Heartland Hospice, in partnership with ProMedica Hospice/HCR Manor Care, seeks dedicated volunteers or volunteer groups to create Christmas packages for veterans unable to be home with their loved ones during the holidays. The initiative aims to express appreciation and support for their service and sacrifice throughout the year.

Goal:
To deliver care packages/items to veteran patients who have served their country through military service during the Christmas season.

Care Package Details:
Items are requested to be delivered to the business office before December 13 to prepare for disbursement. They can be packed in small boxes or gift bags and may include:

Compression socks
Electric shavers
Toiletries: Shaving cream/aftershave, 3-in-1 shampoo, body wash/face wash
Snacks: Salty snacks, hard candy, or chocolate
Bottled water
Entertainment: Word searches, crossword puzzles, magazines
Patriotic items: Masks, lanyards, bandanas, pens, etc.
